I feel so nervous today because this is my first flight and I have long distance flight. I should have 3 flights before arriving in Manila:
- Yogyakarta-Jakarta for about an hour flight by Air Asia
- Jakarta - Singapore for about 2 hours flight by Jetstar
- Singapore-Manila for about 3 hours flight by Jetstar
My first flight from Jogja to Jakarta was as well as in my imagine. I have to wait for about 3 hours to continue my flight from Jakarta to Singapore then I can took a rest for a moment in Soekarno Hatta Airport.
At 5 pm I continued my flight to Singapore. I'm very excited with Changi, it was the best airport in the world. And it is such a pleasure for me that I can visit Changi. Unfortunatelly, my flight was delayed twice and finally canceled because the weather in Manila was bad. Because my canceled flight, I can not attend the Welcome Ceremony in PSU.
At night I stayed in Four Points by Sheraton Hotel by voucher from Jetstar Flight. The Jetstar crew acommodated us very well include the voucher of meal and taxi from the airport to hotel.
But I should be possitive thinking because in Singapore I get some experiences that I never got before. In Changi I got a new Philipinos friend and we go to the hotel by taxi together. We got our hotel after 15 minutes driving and the taxi costs 20.32 Dollar Singapore. Yeah, the driver told that "Everything in Singapore are good, except the expesive costs". In taxi the driver told everything about Singapore. We also passed the Marina Bay, but I can not see the Merlion. Singapore was very beautiful country because in the middle of road there full of flowers and besides the road stands many highest buildings.
After staying a night in Four Points by Sheraton, we back to Changi at 3 pm. And finally we got aour flight to Manila at 5.25 pm. We arrived in Manila (NAIA) arround 10.30 pm and we continued our travel to PSU with the crew of campus. It was very long distance traveling and I was very tired and directly going to sleep in the dorm after arriving in PSU at 4 am in the morning.
Magandang Umaga Po, Philipinos!
